Subject: Canon VI - The Treasurer

Note: The mover and the seconder must be members of the General Synod and be present in the House when the resolution is before the synod for debate.

BE IT RESOLVED:

That Canon VI of the General Synod (Financial Management) be amended by deleting section 1 and renumbering sections 2 to 6 to be sections 1 to 5.

EXPLANATORY NOTE/BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This is a companion to Resolution Number A031 which if passed will include in the Constitution the provisions respecting the appointment and responsibilities of the Treasurer of the General Synod presently found in section 1 of Canon VI.
